As the Chair of Lowland Rescue, Sean leads an organisation with a membership of 34 different SAR teams from across the UK and Ireland. Having over 48 years of experience in the search and rescue environment not only in the UK and Ireland but also in other countries across the globe, Sean is internationally recognised as one of the most experienced subject matter experts in Land SAR. As a National Search Manager, he has responsibility for the coordination of multiple search assets in response to more than 250 Search and Rescue incidents every year and champions the use of existing and emerging technologies integrated with existing people, processes and equipment.
