Dr Simon Hodder (FCIEHF) is a Reader in Environmental Ergonomics at Loughborough University. He has 25 years of experience in the field of integration of thermal physiology and perception, particularly thermal comfort, clothing science, human response and performance in the heat and ergonomic/human factors associated with the environment and has publishing over 70 academic papers in the area. As chair of ISO TC159 Scientific Committee 5 - Ergonomics of the Physical Environment he has aided translation of knowledge on human thermal response to International Standards for the protection of people.
