Fingerprint Capability Product Owner, Gwent Police, Police Digital Service
Stephen has more than thirty years of experience in forensics. His key area of specialism is fingerprints, and he has worked in a variety of key roles including as a practicing fingerprint examiner, bureau supervisor and bureau manager. As Product Owner and Lead Subject Matter Expert for the Police Digital Service, Steve has been seconded from Gwent Police since 2019, to support on the Digital Fingerprint Capability (DFC). Here Steve has been involved in all aspects of the solution’s design, build and run, supporting forces with their onboarding journeys to make full use of the DFC.
