Stewart joined Thames Valley Police in 2001 after working in West Yorkshire Police. In his role, he has encountered various incidents of suicide, which led him to chair TVP's Men's Forum for suicide prevention. Stewart has conducted webinars on suicide prevention, led the force's response on Suicide Prevention Day, and introduced wellbeing practices like Dynamic Breathwork and Cold-Water Therapy. His efforts have made a positive impact on many within TVP.
