Taran (Taz) Maguire is a firefighter with Leicestershire Fire and Rescue, specialising in Technical Rescue and Urban Search and Rescue. Much of his time outside the job goes into charity work: he's a proud member of the UK Pink Firefighters, runs races in fire kit as @MyRunsArePink for Breast Cancer Now, and is Operations and Comms Manager for the Memorial Stair Climb, leading a UK contingent of firefighters to the USA for the 25th anniversary of 9/11.
