Trystan Bevan
Trystan is Chief Inspector for Conwy County in North Wales covering a vast network of urban and rural roads making it challenging to select vehicles for all conditions. He commenced his career with North Wales police in 2002, previously working as a constable, preceding his appointment as an AFO and Tactical Firearms Dog handler. He moved to the Royal Residence Protection Team working on Anglesey and later joined the Roads Policing Unit as a Sergeant and proceeded as a Fatal Collisions SIO. Trystan was initially promoted to Inspector and then Chief Inspector, working as a Staff Officer to the Chief Constable where he continued until early 2023.
