The First Responder Theatre is designed to improve the collaboration between the emergency services and security industries and is themed around the actions necessary to optimise emergency services response.

With topics including the assaults on emergency services workers act and Martyn's Law, leading security associations will be presenting key findings and strategies meant to strenghten the relationship between the two sectors.

The Protect Duty is also known colloquially as Martyn's Law, in memory of Martyn Hett, who was one of 22 murdered at the Manchester Arena in 2017, and the campaign for its inclusion in legislation has been driven by Figen Murray OBE, Martyn's Mother.
